QPP started as a DJ service, "Quantum Music" in 2001 adding lighting and later Photo Booths. Along the way, we started planning and coordinating weddings, then designing events.
Over the years, we've gone through a couple of changes as we've adapted our business model to include other services like event planning and starting in 2017, event rentals. We have transitioned into being a family owned business as Kit Shires and daughter's Bailey and Payton are now part owners making Quantum Party Productions LLC, a woman owned business!
We have established a very unique niche as an event service where you can can book a wedding DJ, rent Chiavari Chairs, get a convection oven for your caterer and help with event design.
Our staff includes professional a/v techs, lighting designers and experienced coordinators that provide design services, lighting and sound applications, assist with bar service, florals and more.
QUANTUM IS IN BENICIA, SAN FRANCISCO & ST. HELENA!
Our headquarters in the Industrial Park of Benicia is a 6000 sq ft space at 250 West Channel Rd features commercial washers and dryers, state of the art dishwashers, private offices, a designer lounge and two large warehouses allowing us to keep event productions in house.
Being in Benicia has given us the experience of providing services for more weddings and events in the Napa Valley and Sonoma Wine Country. We love it so much that we opened a new location in downtown St. Helena in the Cornerstone Building at 1308 Main Street. This location displays our linens, flatware, glassware and décor selections and meetings are available by appointment only. We are also available to provide small rental orders for pickup at this location.
As an added convenience for our Bay Area customers, we have a satellite office located in the Financial District of San Francisco at 315 Montgomery Street.

From the beginning, we have always been driven to produce great events. We discovered the best way to accomplish this is by listening to our clients, coming up with a well thought out plan and then putting our staff in the best possible position to successfully execute that plan.
CEO, Jason Shires is involved with every event that comes through QPP. Creating plans, reviewing emails, confirming details and logistics with a high focus on our client’s experience from beginning to end. We take pride in replying to all emails, phone calls and proposal requests within 24 hours.
